Pipeline problems manifest themselves in many ways
When odors or insects start to spread from the pipeline, the problems are often long overdue. Grease, oil and other organic waste accumulate in the pipeline, weaken the draft and provide ideal conditions for insects. In particular, grease separation wells in restaurants get clogged easily, overflow and smell surprisingly far away.
Pipeline problems are usually never limited to one apartment or kitchen. Fortunately, the microbial-based maintenance agent dosed into the pipe benefits the entire property's pipeline all the way to the grease separation well.
Our solution is based on cleaning waste accumulations from pipes by utilising microorganisms. The utilization of microorganisms (bacteria) in wastewater treatment is a Finnish innovation that has been used in wastewater treatment plants for decades.
The pipeline maintenance products we develop and manufacture in Finland are multi-cultured bacterial solutions and powders designed to break down, for example, fats, oils and animal fats (FOG) and other food waste. QPS-approved bacteria safely break down waste into water and carbon dioxide, reduce waste accumulation and prevent odors in all demanding environments: kitchens, sewer pipes, grease separation pits, gray water tanks and grease separation equipment.
A process based on the same technology has been used in Finnish water treatment plants for decades.
Our maintenance products containing carefully selected bacteria effectively remove waste accumulations in the pipe and ultimately keep the grease waste from the property's grease separation well running at the other end of the pipeline, which significantly extends the maintenance interval of the well.

Starting a maintenance service is easy and quick
Starting a pipeline maintenance service is easy. Once we have received your contact, we will contact you about the mapping of the property. Based on the problem points, we draw up a customised proposal for pipeline maintenance, after which our technical expert installs the Dosing Devices at the identified problem points.
Our expert makes a maintenance visit to the property every few weeks, changes the maintenance agent canisters and monitors the development of the results. We report the results and suggestions for follow-up measures to the customer.

BioTroop BL-20
The microbial-based concentrated solution is intended for dissolving fats, oils and solid fat deposits (FOG) in pipelines and grease separators. The product contains Bacillus bacteria, which are 100% in spore form.
BioTroop BL-20 is made for the needs of low dosage and long maintenance intervals, whose bacterial strains can survive in the demanding environment of low pH.
What is the price of a pipeline maintenance service?
The monthly price of the service is affected by the size of the object, the number of necessary dispensing devices and the frequency of dispensing. In a small property, one or two dispensing devices may be enough to eliminate plumbing problems. There can be dozens of dispensing devices in a large shopping center or, for example, on a cruise ship.
The price includes monitoring by SmartPipe's technical expert, customer reporting, and replacement of maintenance canisters every few weeks.
The pipeline maintenance service does not burden the maintenance personnel of the property, the maintenance company or the property manager.
